Job description
- Assist with running of all machines, working towards full machine operator
- General factory duties - keeping areas safe and tidy
- Assisting other members of staff with manufacturing work
Assist in all areas of stores management
- Ensuring all stock is correctly stored
- Retrieving stock for manufacturing
- Retrieving stock for immediate despatch
- Supporting the annual stocktake
- Operating the forklift for moving materials
Goods in
Assist in all aspect of the handling of goods received, including the
- Operation of the forklift for unloading
- Supporting the booking in process and the placement of goods into store
- Conducting supplier quality tests
Despatch
Assist in all aspect of the handling of goods for despatch, including
- Checking material out of stores based on the order list
- Packing of customer orders
- Entering despatch information onto the computer
- Operation of forklift for loading
Full training is given
Forklift licence is desirable but not essential

Monday – Thursday (we are closed on Fridays)
7.00am – 3pm (15 minute break and 45 minutes for lunch)
