Reporting into ECM Stores Manager
The role is office based, normal working hours 0900 – 1700 Wednesday to Friday within ECM’s premises.
The main aim of the role is to assist our Stores Manager in our goods inwards/outwards department. Full inhouse training covering all elements of the required work will be carried out by ECM systems. Flexibility is key as cross departmental work in our busy Production department may also be required during busy periods.
Secondary role will include cross departmental work in both our busy customer service and stores departments of which additional training will be given as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing goods safely and securely using a variety of methods including pallets and banding, pallet wrap, chips and bubble wrap etc. Able to adapt and modify pre-made packaging if necessary
- Despatch goods or products from a packing list, delivery note or sales order
- Despatch goods overseas using international couriers, completing all necessary paperwork and packaging to required schedule
- Using courier specific websites to collect and deliver goods.
- Check that goods received match the delivery note and are of expected quality before processing and filing the relevant delivery paperwork.
- Processing Gaming Tablet manifests and updating the master data spreadsheet.
- Communicating with couriers to report undelivered packages and labelling errors. Checking master data spreadsheet with courier invoices to check for courier invoicing errors and submitting claims when necessary.
- Replenish and maintain stock monitoring systems.
- Able to identify most basic/common stock by sight. With clear understanding of importance of 100% accuracy
- Actioning a stock take and what is involved pre/post stocktake
- Understand and distribute COSHH & PPE procedures & equipment
A good level of understanding of IT software Experience using word/excel would be essential.- Experience in computerised stock control would be beneficial
- Manual handling awareness advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
- Own a Full driving licence with additional forklift driving licence been advantageous.
- Applicant needs to be flexible in nature with a high level of motivation to learn.
- Thorough attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines on your own discretion or as part of a team.
