An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Assistant Cleaner to ensure that our service is cleaned to a high standard. Thorndale Life House accommodates 31 homeless vulnerable families and 4 single ladies. in self-contained flats, offering support to find accommodation and assistance to engage in support services locally.
Location; Thorndale Life House 8, Duncairn Ave Belfast BT14 1BP.
The General Assistant Cleaner will interact with clients and should be dedicated to working in a professional and caring manner that respects that they are working in our clients’ home. The standard of cleaning will meet health and safety regulation and legislation.
This is a Full- time post of 35 hours per week, require daytime hours spread across Monday to Friday.
All applicants will need to be in sympathy with the mission of The Salvation Army.
The successful candidate will:
- have previous cleaning/ domestic experience.
- have good use of English language and communication skills.
- have the ability to plan a routine and work independently.
- have the ability to operate equipment relevant to the job.
- have a knowledge of COSHH
- have the ability to work as part of a team.
