We have 17 en-suite bedrooms at our Windermere Guest House, including two 4-poster rooms and a luxurious suite in commendation of poet and playwright Oscar Wilde (aptly named the Oscar Wilde suite!). They’re all individual in one way or another; some with exposed beams, some with high ceilings and our top floor rooms boast spectacular views over the roof tops and countryside of Windermere.
OUR LOCATION
Windermere Park Bed & Breakfast accommodation offers a superb central location for exploring the Lake District. You are only 2 minutes walk from the centre of Windermere Village with its variety of shops, wide choice of quality restaurants or bars and its excellent bus or rail links to other parts of the Lake District.
You can take a 15 to 20 minute stroll to Lake Windermere and Bowness where Windermere Lake Cruises can transport you north to Ambleside, or south to Newby Bridge where you will find some superb attractions including the Lakeside Motor Museum, Lakes Aquarium and Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway.

Responsibilities of General Assistant at Windermere Park
We are looking for people who have a fun fresh and inspiring personality, to join our team The right applicant will ensure every guest has a memorable and unique experience and enjoys hospitality.
- You will be required to help with the up keep of running the Bed & Breakfast and looking after the guests needs throughout their stay
- You must have excellent communication skills and be totally hospitality driven and be able to work alone and be self-motivated.
- Become an integral part of a dynamic, friendly, and fun team who love what they do.
- Ensuring that every guest has an excellent and memorable experience, at Windermere Park.
Requirements of a General Assistant
- Previous experience of exceptional guest service
- Attention to the smallest detail.
- A passion for hospitality and great customer service
- Friendly, courteous, and helpful, with excellent communication skills
- Flexible, and able to work between 7.00am - 6pm on a rota basis.
- Motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues.
- Excellent personal appearance and hygiene standards
- A great team player
- Training will be provided in all areas
