General Assistant.
This position is an ideal opportunity for the right candidate.
Hours
Please state if you require full or part time work.
Daily hours, Flexible start, 4 to 6 hours per day.
Saturday mornings are available and are paid at an overtime rate.
Rates of pay.
You will be paid on an hourly basis for the hours you work. According to your age and experience. A loyalty bonus scheme is in operation.
Full holiday entitlement
Working Environment.
You will be working in a modern refrigerated butchers as part of a family run business.
You will be working in a close knit environment where everybody helps everybody.
All protective clothing will be provided.
Training
You will be given full training on all aspects of the work involved.
You will be expected to work on your own as soon as we are satisfied
that you are able to do the work properly and safely.
Daily Duties.
You will be expected to show a willingness to learn and be prepared to adapt to changes as required.
Your duties will include.
Assisting the butchers in their day to day work.
You will be expected to maintain a high level of hygiene.
Overview.
This vacancy will suit a person with good all round practical skills and common sense.
A background of catering skills could be an advantage.
For the right applicant this could be a long term position.
This is physical work that does require a reasonable level of fitness.
