Grade 1 £20,258 - £20,812 pro rata due to term time & part time
Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Working Hours 10 hours per week - Monday - Friday Term time between 11.45am to 1.45pm, including 3 days in school holidays
Location – St Wilfrid’s Catholic School, Shawsdale Road, Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, B36 8LY

Cityserve is the Birmingham City Council catering service for school meals providing fresh and nutritious food for school kitchen across the UK, healthy eating is a continuous theme throughout all of our menus, and we are committed to the wellbeing of pupils. As a General Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking meals for pupils
- Assist keeping the kitchen clean & tidy
- Costing, stocktaking and keeping appropriate records
- To maintain a balanced diet and varied menus
- To be aware of the care users’ needs and dietary preferences
- You will work collaboratively with managers and supervisors to ensure the first-class delivery of food in school kitchens both in and outside of service times.
Previous kitchen experience is essential to this role

An ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence using the English Language is required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016
