How you will contribute
You are a specialist in a process, workstream or area in Mondelēz International Business Services, working to support impeccable service operations. You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondelēz International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team.
Main responsibilities:
- To retrieve, manage and investigate all data subject rights requests received by the business within the timeframe set out by the regulation and minimize all risks related to it
- To investigate, manage and potentially escalate to the GDPR Team Lead/Data Privacy Lead all incidents with an impact on personal data
- To support and provide guidance to the business on any initiative where personal data is involved
- To process all requests received to satisfactory conclusion and to maintain communication with the subject until the request is resolved
- To maintain relationships with stakeholders and key system owners
- Seek continuous improvement opportunities by identifying learnings from cases
- To identify ad-hoc projects that would enable the team to carry out the GDPR agenda across the People Team
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Previous experience in the Privacy sector and a good understanding of Data Protection is essential
- Supporting qualifications (Iapp or similar) are desired
- Strong attention to details
- Previous experience in working with case management tools as well as being a quick learner already familiar with IT systems is desired
- Familiarity with HR processes is desired
- Being confident at communicating complex messages is essential as you will be required to interpret challenging cases and complete actions promptly and independently
- Customer-focused and detail oriented
- Being a good team player and influencing others
- Working in a shared service organization
- Inquisitive mindset
- An additional European language is desired but not strictly required for this role
The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
