Job Summary - The Club Community Organisation of Exeter City Football Club (ECFC), and Exeter City Community Trust (ECCT), have an exciting new opportunity for an Exeter graduate to join their team. You will help to deliver a wide range of activities and projects associated with the club’s work supporting the community and wider stakeholder group of the football club. You will gain valuable experience working on initiatives supporting the executive team of the Community Trust and wider leadership team that supports the aims of the Community Trust and building on the relationships between the University of Exeter and football club. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career and develop valuable skillsets that will prepare you for a wide range of career paths. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) scheme and offers full-time hours (36.5 hours per week) for 12 months. Some weekend working may be required to support at match days and at other events. You will be employed by the University of Exeter and seconded to ECFC which means you will have access to the benefits available from both organisations. About You - You should be an Exeter graduate who has excellent writing skills, can demonstrate a high level of teamwork, has the ability to use own initiative and make decisions without referring to senior manager, and has the ability to manage workloads with conflicting priorities, work under pressure and deliver within agreed timescales both individually and for others. You should have good communication and marketing skills, including developing websites and newsletters, have the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English, and the ability to communicate effectively in a professional, appropriate, and concise manner both orally and in writing. You should be dynamic, enthusiastic and have a creative approach to work, be flexible and able to work on multiple projects, be adaptable to change and the ability to implement and learn process quickly, have the ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines, be confident, tactful, and diplomatic approach to enquiries, and be a self-starter and proactive. You should have excellent IT skills, and have previous work or voluntary experience ideally of working collaboratively in a small team to create outcomes. Knowledge of the Voluntary, Charitable or Social Enterprise sector and experience of monitoring and evaluation (recording and measuring change over time) are desirable but not essential.
