Great British Communications (GBC) are a fast-paced business with a huge contract pipeline and ambitious growth plans. Part of the United Living Group, turnover will double in the next 5 years to top £1 billion. Alongside these growth plans, we are looking to expand our teams and are looking for Project Co-ordinators to join our one of our Front End Delivery Teams based in Widnes.

As a Project Co-ordinator within the team, you will be dedicated to supporting the Delivery Manager to deliver the project on a site-by-site basis across the UK. Your responsibilities will include arranging access to sites, preparing Handover Packs (HOPs), arranging the issue of risk assessments, and finding quotes to raise purchase orders.

The successful candidate will be confident in speaking with and advising suppliers, engineers and internal delivery teams with regards to the build of a telecommunication site. They will also possess the following knowledge and skills:

  • Good level of IT skills including excel, and other Microsoft packages
  • Experience of working in the Telecommunications or similar industry is advantageous but not essential to this role
  • Adept at manipulating client tools/reports on a regular basis
  • Omnix, Evenflow, ADC Build, Remedy, Arqiva, WIG, SharePoint, Business Central skills are advantageous
  • IT Qualifications
  • Health and Safety Qualifications
