Biosite Security Limited specialises in construction site security and other support services and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic daytime Gateman | Security Guard to join our dynamic team.This position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career within the construction industry and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive site/company.Based on site with our end customer, you will work closely with all areas of their company and ours, to secure the site and assist with the site team in ensuring overall site security is maintained. You will be helping the team at Biosite Security to achieve agreed targets and service level agreements. This exciting position offers the opportunity to progress into a bigger role such as joining our management team through our EPS.Biosite Security is an Approved Contractor of the Security Industry Authority. The ACS Standard encompasses all aspects of a security provider’s operation. It takes a holistic view of how well an organisation is managed and an approved organisation must demonstrate to an independent assessor, on an annual basis, that it has met defined standards. We are proud to maintain our status and invite all staff to help us change the industry.ResponsibilitiesSafely ensuring traffic into and out of siteLock and unlock at the start and end of the dayEnsuring appropriate recording of deliveries/vehicles using the Biosite delivery management system.Ensuring site H&S rules are followed, and reporting any safety breaches to the site teamRequirements1-2 years Gateman or Security Guard experience in a similar companyExcellent personal management skills and attention to detailGood communication skillsA valid SIA LicenceBritish PassportAble to work effectively as part of a teamKnowledge of public safety and securityShould be able to reliably commute to the Harrogate area.Remuneration & SelectionBiosite Security has a great employee progression scheme which has seen several members of our site team be offered positions within management or the control room team.
