Job title: Gateline Assistant
Location: London King`s Cross station
Contract Length: 6 Month Initial Contract
Interviews/Start Date: Solo Video Interview / Immediate start after passing a medical and drug & alcohol test.
As a Gate line Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customer interaction and assisting passengers with their enquiries regarding their journeys and tickets. This is your chance to develop new skills and get experience within the railway sector. Holding a gateline licence is desired, but not essential to obtain this job.
The role:
As part of the gateline team, you will be delivering a welcoming experience for our customers by providing additional information regarding their travel plans, tickets and train times. At the workplace, you will also ensure passengers` safety at the gates while operating the barriers.

On average, you will work 35 hours a week, and be part of a team who works early shifts (starting at 05:55 am at the earliest) and late shifts (finishing at 20:05 pm at the latest). A 20-week roster will be provided.

PAYE: £13.25 / hour Umbrella: £16.68 / hour
- Bank holiday rates:
PAYE: £20.35 / hour Umbrella: £23.42 / hour

Interviews and Start Date: After applying for the Gateline Assistant role, your CV will be reviewed, and you may be contacted to discuss the role further. The selected candidates will be requested to complete the solo video interview before progressing to a face-to-face interview with the client. If successful in being offered the role, you shall need to provide your eligibility to work in the UK and attend a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
