Working 5 from 7 days on fixed term contract for 6 months, you’ll be responsible for carrying out all security checks and controlling the gate. You’ll be inspecting all import and export units for damages, photographing units, and completing the necessary paperwork. Alongside checking the trailers and vehicles, you’ll need to ensure all visitors and drivers to the terminal are compliant – don’t worry, we will ensure you have all the necessary training you need to succeed in your role.
Alongside carrying out checks for hazardous goods and completing the documentation, you’ll also be receiving cargo for storage, warehousing, and transhipment. We need you to build relationships with the Customer Services Operation Department as you’ll be frequently liaising with them to resolve issues and queries.
