Job description
This job requires working alongside our lead gardener for the first 1-2 months being trained on how to use equipment and perform the jobs to a high standard aswell as learning our customers and use of tools then once trained to be working solo in a van with tools (provided by the company) carrying out some of the tasks below but not limited to:- Lawn cutting- Strimming edges and weeds- Hands and knees weeding in borders.- Tree trimming- Hedge cutting- Leaf collectingExperience:- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping preferred- Knowledge of different plant species and their care requirements preferred.- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in gardening prefered- Ability to work independently or as part of a team- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions- Driving vans- Able to use initiativeMust requirements:-Full clean UK Driving licence-Willing to work in all weather conditions- Physically fit and up for the challenge- Willing to work on ladders and on thier knees (eg. hedge cutting or weeding).- Polite with a can do attitude.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
