Job description
The job entails going to customer's gardens and tidying them for an agreed length of time, for which they will pay £25 per hour worked.
Although in practise customers pay an agreed amount once a month direct to the gardener's business account and the gardener pays the business a franchise fee according to how much they are earning. Up to a maximum of £500 a month.
You would work as self employed, run your own vans and tools. Earnings on a full round are £4,000 a month minus the franchise fee and tax. Help with getting started with a van and tools.
Gardeners can earn more doing 'one off' work at £40 an hour and sometimes £60 an hour if the work is heavy duty, eg heavy duty strimming, or digging up shrub roots etc. This is a way of filling spaces when a gardener is building a round, or for Saturday work if a gardener would like to earn a bit more money a month.
