You will love gardens and gardening and you’ll have a good general knowledge of plants and horticulture. You’ll be looking after our flower borders, planters and hanging baskets as well as cutting the grass and generally keeping the pub surroundings neat and tidy. Responsibilities: Designing and maintaining the pub's garden and outdoor spaces to create an inviting and visually appealing atmosphere. Planting, watering, pruning, and caring for a wide variety of plants, flowers, and trees. Performing regular maintenance tasks, including weeding, mulching, fertilizing, and pest control, to ensure the health and vitality of the garden. Collaborating with the pub's management to plan and execute seasonal displays and special events in the garden. Ensuring the garden is kept clean, organized, and safe for visitors. Staying updated on current trends and best practices in horticulture and implementing innovative ideas to enhance the garden's beauty. Qualifications: Proven experience in horticulture, gardening, or a related field, preferably in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of plants, including identification, care, and maintenance. Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment. Creativity and an eye for detail to design and create aesthetically pleasing garden displays. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with pub staff and engage with visitors. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision. A passion for nature, gardening, and creating an inviting outdoor experience for pub guests. About us...
