Salary is per annum pro rata. 25 hours per week available- (Mon- Sat working 5 days per week)
Job Purpose
- Deliver effective and efficient catering and coffee shop services within the Pioneering Care Centre
- Ensuring a consistently high-quality user experience and following PCP procedures to high standards at all times
- To assist in optimising income generation
- Ensure effective housekeeping sustaining the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and health and safety.
- To supervise and support volunteers.
Job Description
1. Deliver catering services to ensure a high-quality service is maintained at all times whilst optimizing income generation.
2. Maintain customer care at all times, offering a friendly and welcoming service, processing sales, answering queries and providing information.
3. Cook and bake fresh items according to set menus for both the coffee shop and room hire functions.
4. Ensure all food products are attractively displayed and correctly priced.
5. Manage and monitor stock, waste and usage.
6. To support and develop good working relationships with other departments, projects, tenants, and center room hirers.
7. Ensuring front of house areas including conservatory are clean and well presented.
8. To assist in the delivery of events hospitality as requested.
9. Develop a supportive team working environment.
10. Ensure housekeeping is to the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness.
11. Provide supervisory support and guidance to trainees and volunteers.
12. Prepare a weekly rota for staff and volunteers to ensure adequate cover for opening hours.
13. Comply with environmental health, food hygiene and health and safety regulations and procedures
General

3. To assist marketing and engagement work and use creative techniques to gather views from the communities we support.
4. To actively take responsibility for your own health and safety and ensuring procedures are adhered to.
5. To collate appropriate monitoring and evaluation information to support the achievement of agreed targets and outcomes within the project or service.
6. To carry out all responsibilities in line with the organisation’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy.
7. To recruit, support, train and motivate volunteers as required.
8. To undertake any training and development deemed appropriate.
9. To undertake any such duties required by the relevant Senior Manager or PCP Chief Executive.
