Overview: In this position, you will be stationed in one of the many games around the park! You will assist and encourage guests throughout the game play to ensure a positive experience. Food and merchandise discounts. PLUS, Kings Island will be celebrating our 50th anniversary! How You'll Make A Difference: Oversees the operation of assigned game and associated equipment. Creates demand for guests to play assigned game by use of attractive prize displays as well as using a microphone. Explains and demonstrates games to guests, conducts transactions for guests to play the game, and provides guests with game supplies/equipment needed to play such as rings or balls. Determines winners, records winners, and distributes prizes. Maintains appropriate levels of stock; moves and organizes stock in stockrooms; assists supervisor with inventory counts. Cleans game booth, keeps equipment in good condition, receives, stores, and displays prizes. Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions. Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision. Other duties may be assigned. We're Looking For: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs. Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.Show more
