Cave Escape is now established as one of the “must do” escape room venues within Nottingham's amazing escape game scene. Having opened in June 2018 to outstanding reviews, we've had a rip-roaring ride so far.
With our third room at Cave Escape opening in July, we are looking to recruit Weekend Games Masters / Operators (Zero Hours Contracts) to join us on our exciting journey.

Weekend Games Masters / Operators (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays)
Zero Hours Contract
Combination of days/evenings, scheduled on a fortnightly basis.
Salary: £10:50 per hour
*This position is not seasonal. Applicants will be required to work year-round including academic holidays andmust be able to commit to a minimum of 9 months in post.
Duties will include:
Preparing games, ensuring that all props and puzzles are reset accurately and in a timely manner
Greeting players, answering any questions they have and giving the pre / post game briefing in a fun and entertaining way
Facilitating games from our control room
Health and safety supervision
Taking phone enquiries and supporting customers with their bookings, providing advice and information
Contributing to Social Media channels, taking end-game photos and posting across platforms
Support the training of new team members
Light cleaning duties including hoovering, polishing, dusting, cleaning customer toilets, maintaining cleanliness of all areas, emptying bins etc.
Maintenance of props and set pieces and up-keep of game equipment
Essential Skills & Qualities:
An understanding of running live public events such as concerts / theatre / leisure
An understanding of 'Escape Games' as a concept
An outgoing, fun and confident manner
Confident with public speaking and "briefing" players
Outstanding customer service skills
The ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong timekeeping
Demonstrable commitment to customer experience
A real team-player who acts in a supportive and considerate manner towards colleagues
Polite and well humoured
ICT Skills - Microsoft office suite. Design software, video or sound editing a plus
Extra skills that would be appreciated include:
DIY skills, skills with electronics. Experience in character role play or acting. Experience in set and prop building. Experience in painting and decorating.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have qualifications equivalent to 3 A levels / BTEC further education or considerable equivalent experience in customer service and/or public events.
