Make Your Escape, Derby's No.1 Fun and Games Attraction (Tripadvisor) is looking to recruit! We are looking for bright and bubbly, people-orientated Game Masters with a passion for escape rooms and the delivery of exceptional, fun-filled experiences!
You will need to be outgoing with a great attitude, outwardly positive and able to engage well with a crowd. Flexibility, time management and consistency are a must, as is being organised, solution focused and able to think on your feet. Good initiative will serve you well. Most of all we want you to care as much as we do that our customers have a fantastic time.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing a team’s experience from start to finish, including meet and greet, storytelling, watching every moment of their game, debrief and goodbyes.
- Game resets
- Taking and managing bookings
- Responding to enquiries
- Promotions and social media
- Record keeping
- Handling Cash
- Cleaning duties
- Small repairs
- Opening and closing to premises (key holder duties)
- Lone working as well as working as part of a team
Experience with electronics, coding, DIY, storytelling, drama, or expressive/creative arts may well give you an edge!
A flexible approach to working hours and a commitment to weekend hours is essential, we are particularly interested to hear from applicants who can commit to regular Sundays.
Escape room experience isn’t necessary as full training will be provided to the successful candidate. Candidates must be available to play one of our games and complete a trial shift as part of the recruitment process.

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
