Lockdown Escape Rooms
Full Time Ormskirk, England 7.49 - 10.42 GBP HOURLY Today
Job description

Qualifications Needed: Master’s Degree in Game Mastery… oh wait that doesn’t exist

Lockdown is Ormskirk’s first ever escape room venue. We are looking for fun, friendly, and organised Game Masters to join our team. Game Masters will run and supervise our games and carry out other duties as required.

Must have good availability. The next part is a must... you need to be available for shifts during evenings, weekends, and school holidays/ half-terms, Hallowe'en, Easter etc... This includes Christmas, The only days we will be closed are Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 27th Dec, News Years Day and 2nd Jan. You will be expected to be available all other days of the year. We are not saying you will definitly be on shift these days, but we need people available. Hours will be rota’d as per the needs of the business.

No Game Master experience needed (full training will be given) but you would need experience using computers.

Let’s keep this bit simple…

· You have to be smart and clean. Casual dress required (no clown costumes or giant hotdog suits!) Jeans, trainers, t-shirts, hoodies all OK, just make sure your top is black and no tracksuit bottoms.

· Have as many tattoos, piercings etc as you like. Got bright green hair, sweet! No problem with us. The quirkier, the better!

Here’s what we need:

· Flexible employees willing to work their hours around the needs of the business (obviously we are going to want you to work if we are busy) See above!

· Friendly people who can talk to the players and make sure their experience is awesome!

· You will be running the escape room, resetting props, cleaning, repairing, greeting, answering emails, managing the booking system, completing checklists, daily reports, answering calls etc… so you’ve got to be organised!

· Be safe and fun. This place is a serious business and we need people to keep health and safety 100%... but we also want to be a fun place to work.

What you get:

· ALL Game Masters will receive the NLW

· Friends & Family Discount of 10%

· Flexible working hours. We will need you here when we are busy, but if we can be flexible to help you out, we will be.

· A fun job! Being a Game Master is a lot of fun. You get to meet new people, in a fun environment. Let’s be honest, if you are reading this, you know working as a GM would be boss!
