Crucible Gaming is a 20-strong casino game studio run by some of the most experienced people in the online gaming industry. We design and develop casino games for household-name brands such as SkyBet, Ladbrokes, William Hill among many others. We are expanding our team to cope with an increase in demand for our products.
We are looking for a Junior Game Artist to help assist the development, QA & sales team to deliver high quality products to our customers. Given the very hands on & creative nature of this role, we want prefer you working from our central Sheffield office.
What is the role?
- You will be creating artwork, animations and marketing materials for games.
- You’ll be helping our team with other art related items as they crop up
- You will be a key ingredient in the look and feel of our products and differentiate us from our many competitors!
- You'll be working with our cutting edge ANVIL platform to bring your ideas to life, and see them on the biggest casino sites in the world
What skills and experience do I need?
- Creativity, ambition and a sense of fun.
- A portfolio of your work; showing 2D and some 3D work. Please note that portfolios with only 3D art will not be accepted; this role will be 95% 2D work.
- The ability to juggle multiple projects at once!
- Strong knowledge of Adobe products (Photoshop/AfterEffects in particular)
- Experience of animation tools like Spine would be a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of casino gaming would be very helpful but is not essential
- Good written English is important
What else might be handy?
· A passport – when restrictions allow, you may be travelling with the team to meet clients and attend events in Europe and the US.
· An interest in gaming is good as you will hopefully want to contribute to game design!
