Your role at Chanel:
Working in the Finance Transformation team, you will take ownership for the corporate and cross-divisional G&A reporting for the central costs & overheads, global insurance reporting. Operating as a true business partner to the UK markets Corporate and Cross divisional Function and senior leadership (e.g., IT, G&A, CEO, PR dept, etc.), you will provide analysis and insights to support strategic decision making. Within Finance you will promote process improvements through system implementations, streamlining reporting and constantly improving processes within your area.
What impact you can create at Chanel:

Responsible for the monthly management and year-end reporting process for the UK corporate and cross-divisional G&A (IT, Operations, Legal, HR, CEO, etc.)

Conducting monthly management reviews, including challenging senior stakeholders on financial spend and providing analysis on budget vs actuals.

Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting for G&A including reviewing and challenging with relevant Departmental Heads by providing in depth and relevant analysis

Responsible of corporate capital expenditure reporting with close monitoring of fixed assets register in collaboration with financial accounting team in Croydon, especially on IT

Responsible for annual insurance submission to Global corporate insurance team

Support the finance transformation team members to produce and maintain financial dashboard information with detailed analytical commentary both on financial and non-financial information

Work closely with the systems, business finance, and financial accounts teams to improve processes, simplify and automate where possible to build efficiencies in all financial reporting.
What you will bring to the role:

Part Qualified or completed financial qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with 4+ years of working experience

Experience partnering with central cost teams (particularly IT) is beneficial

Budgeting and forecasting experience

Previous experience driving improvement and efficiencies within a finance department

Strong excel skills with an understanding of the SAP financial systems with BI & TM1 experience a plus
