Job description
Please note this role will support our North East region. You will be based within our schools in Sunderland, Stockton-on-Tees, Heighington and Low Willington.
Those huge small victories
Whether our young people want to be an astronaut or an artist or anything in between, we are completely committed to helping them realise futures that are out of this world.
As the leading independent specialist educational provider, we believe that young people should be judged by the person they become, and not the box they tick. From this belief WG Futures has been born, a unique way to completely support every young person into the future they deserve. Developed in complete collaboration with schools, employers and young people, WG Futures is all about delivering unlimited aspiration and endless opportunity for every child.
The role will be part of our central Futures team, and the role holder will spend time across each of their allocated schools, as well as building external relationships with employers and other partners, such as our recruitment talent managers.
Get out what you put in
This role will involve building strong relationships, working closely with employers and setting up partnerships with schools.
Whether you have a background in education, commercial business, recruitment, charities, or youth work, we are looking for the skills, passion and commitment that enable true and meaningful relationships that enable our young people to step forward into their futures with confidence and ambition.
You will work across a cohort of secondary schools to drive the delivery of Futures programme activity and work to identify and support our students, both current and alumni, as they make their first steps into their chosen career. A key aspect of the role will be in building relationships, not just with students and school staff, but also parents/carers and also employer partners.
We don’t just want any business, we want the right role models who will inspire and raise aspiration in our young people. In turn, this new role requires the right person to make it their own and help us truly deliver aspirational futures to our young people.
