You will be joining a talented and experienced furniture team as Furniture Consultant, tasked with building relationships with, advising and supporting clients with the furnishing of their workplaces.

Job purpose
Responsibilities
- Assessing all furniture opportunities and establishing a sales strategy to convert these into sales orders.
- Prepare all sales and marketing pitch documentation required to secure orders.
- Produce detailed cost plans for each furniture order
- Manage the complete sales process from meeting the client and taking the brief to handover to the project management team.
- Product selection and showroom visits, together with product specification and ultimately sign off specification and timescales.
- Maintaining relationships with a core base of furniture manufacturers in order to provide a depth of product range sufficient to service clients.
- Provide a post-installation audit to ensure furniture specification, installation and furniture quality meet with client expectations.
- Review and maintain safety policy related to supply and installation of Office Furniture.
- Reporting to the Head of Furniture on all matters relating to the furniture business.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the commercial furniture marketplace – manufacturers, agents and dealers.
- Good knowledge of the commercial furniture marketplace including products, designers, manufacturers etc.
- Experience as a Furniture Consultant, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Support, A&D Sales Executive etc.
- Excellent knowledge of pricing, specification and office furniture.
- An understanding of workplace strategy and trends with the ability to explain, discuss and review working practices in the office.
