Fund Accountant, £60,000 - £80,000, Central London and Hybrid

One of the leading Private Equity firms in Europe, who primarily invest in tech businesses, is looking to grow their fund finance team and hire a fund
accountant.

This is a varied role providing exposure to several key workstreams and a great opportunity to develop a broad skill set, with responsibility for a range of internal management and external financial reporting functions and involvement in the day-to-day operations of the business. The role is highly commercial and involves lots of interaction with the deal teams, senior internal management, and numerous external stakeholders.

The are looking to offer the successful candidate up to £60,000 - £80,000 with great benefits and bonus’.

Your Role

• Supporting deal teams on investment transactions followed by timely and accurate accounting and administration in investment administration system (Investran)
• Preparation of fund performance data reporting as required by investors and client services teams
• Performing quarterly, unquoted investment valuations under the IPEV guidelines
• Preparation of quarterly management accounts for an allocation of the funds and associated reporting of financial information to clients
• Preparation of annual statutory fund accounts for an allocation of the funds under UK and US GAAP and liaising with external auditors to ensure timely sign-off

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 1-3 years fund accounting experience
• Have strong knowledge of Excel
