Disability Assessor – Nurse

Starting salary £42k Per Annum
Hours 37.5hrs Monday – Friday (Remote/flexible working/part time)

Disability Assessors are the professional faces on the front line of our business. They use conversation, physical examination, and computer software to perform assessments on each client. Join our knowledgeable multidisciplinary team, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the high-quality, respectful service we’re proud to provide
Each telephone or face-to-face assessment lasts around 90 minutes, allowing plenty of time to build up a rapport with the customer. Assessment conducted around the Personal Independence Payment (PIP). The purpose is to understand how a person’s disability is having an impact on their daily living, writing to detailed factual report which would be used by DWP to determine the level of support needed.
Disability Assessors earn an enhanced salary from day one and acquire new additional clinical skills and experiences, all without working extended and unsociable hours. The working pattern gives you a genuine work-life balance whilst getting all the benefits from working in the clinical sector.
You will be using your existing clinical skills within a new working environment. Since every customer is different, you will come across new conditions and develop your clinical knowledge regularly.
