Job description
Working in a pleasant warehouse environment, picking, packing & despatching camping & outdoor products for an online retail company.Using a computer based stock control system, must be computer literate.Occasional local driving of company van to deliver & collect stock from our store. Must have held a full UK driving licence (with only 3 points max) for a minimum of four years, with no accidents, bans or convictions in the last five years.Working as part of a small team that expands to include temp staff during busy periods.Other tasks include stocktaking, assisting senior staff to oversee temp staff during our busy summer season, keeping the premises clean, tidy, safe & secure. Loading & unloading deliveries with the team.Calling or emailing suppliers to resolve stock or delivery issues.Permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, half an hour lunch plus two 15 minute tea breaks.Warehouse picking & packing experience useful, but not essential, as full training will be given.Competitive rate of pay, to be based on experience.Staff holidays to be taken outside school holidays to avoid being short staffed during our busiest times.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to £11.00 per hourBenefits:Casual dressFree parkingOn-site parkingSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
