Job description
We're looking for enthusiastic, responsible and self-directed individuals to join our team of Servers. The ideal candidate will be able to manage his or her own schedule, ensure that all tables are stocked with supplies, and be comfortable learning new skillsets. The successful candidate will work well with a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, and have a background in customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately memorise a list of items and return with them to customers without mistakes.
- Be patient with customers and ready to serve with a smile.
- Know when it is appropriate to engage with customers and when to give them their space.
- Be able to work quickly despite the stress of working under a thirty-minute per table time limit.
- Conform to health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with chefs, food runners and bussers, taking orders and relaying them to the kitchen.
- Travel long distances on foot through poor weather conditions to and from the storehouse, ensuring that there is no spillage in transport.
