Full Time Photographer Essex

Carmel Jane Photography is an award winning, high volume photography company. We recruit and train the very best staff to take exceptional quality school and dance school photographs.
We are now looking for creative, talented full time photographers to join the Carmel Jane Photography team based in Essex. You will have a wide range of opportunities including photographing in Schools (classes & individuals), Dance Shows and Dancers (live and white background). Ongoing training will be provided to gain the skills needed for prospectus and commercial shoots.
The role requires a car in good working order and a clean driver’s license as you will be driving in Essex, Herts, Suffolk, Kent & surrounding areas.
The school season is exceptionally busy during September – November & May – July. The dance season is focused in May, June & July, but there is a variety of work during the year. Some weekend working is required.
Job Purpose
- To take high quality photographs
- Travel to and from various offsite locations photographing primarily in Essex, Kent, Herts, Suffolk & London
- To enjoy working with young people, to create magical expressions and to be an outstanding ambassador for Carmel Jane Photography.
- Editing photos
Principal Accountabilities
Ensuring all photos taken are to the highest standard and quality and edited within specified time frames.
Job Role

- Based in Essex
- Be an experienced photographer. Specific techniques will be taught.
- Ensure all students are photographed professionally, efficiently and with great expression.
- Know that volume photography is fun, but physically demanding.
- You need to have a high work ethic and be prepared, at times, to work long hours.
- Want to be part of a dynamic and exciting company that delivers the very best service.
- Follow the techniques taught in the CJP training sessions.
- Be a confident driver with a clean driving license & a reliable car
