Job description
We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team here at our fabulous 4 star hotel.
Within this busy and varied role as Night Porter, you will be responsible for looking after hotel safety and guest welfare throughout the night.
Hours will be 11pm - 7am. Days to be negotiated.
Duties include-
-Reception duties; checking in guests, conducting the night audit and providing guests with our 24 hour room service with beverages & assistance.
-Assisting the housekeeping team with cleaning and maintenance and resolving guest requests in an efficient, friendly and competent manner.
-Our Night Porters also assist in setting up and event rooms and performing a variety of general cleaning/portering duties. To succeed as Night Porter, you will be computer literate, have a good attention to detail and be warm and welcoming. No previous experience is essential, although experience within similar roles would be advantageous such as Receptionist & Bar Assistant, Front of House, General Assistant, Kitchen Pottering (if needed).
