This two-in-one role will see you join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with learning disabilities. Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or transferable skills from another industry, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.
No two days will be the same as you take pride in safely escorting and driving staff, visitors and service users to local destinations across Southwest London and surrounding areas. During shifts, you will have access to a company vehicle and will be responsible for its maintenance and checks.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve thanks to you; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week.
You will have access to the Elysium Wellbeing team, which is on hand to keep you feeling great; be it a chat, massage or group activities. Who doesn’t like a free massage at work?

Where you will be working
Location: 13 Alexandra Gardens, Hounslow TW3 4HT
You will be working at Alexandra Gardens, a service which provides support for people who may be living with moderate learning disabilities with associated health needs, autism and behaviours.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will offer support to people as part of their care pathway. Whether it is moving from their community placement or a family home because they require more structured care and support.
The shift patterns include working 7.5 hours a day between the hours 7:00am -10pm, 4-5 days a week including weekends on a rota basis. Permanent, Full Time position.

- We are actively encouraging males drivers to apply for this Support Worker vacancy in Hounslow. Must hold the UK driving licence, as part of the role, you will be using the company vehicle to escort the staff and service users to the local destinations.
