Devoted Dogs are pleased to announce a very exciting job opportunity for a dog walker to join our knowledgeable and supportive team in Mid Sussex.
A passion for dogs and the highest standards of care are essential, full training will be provided although you will be required to complete a canine first aid course independently (can be online).
You will be responsible for social walks held in a secure field for up to 6 dogs and one to one private individual walks, so you must be capable and confident handling multiple breeds and sizes of dogs.
The job involves pick up and drop off in and around Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath and Lindfield so a clean driving license and fully crated van is required for the role (6 individual crates).
This is a full time roll Monday-Friday, 34.5 hours per week.
Monday 9.15am-5pm (7.45hrs)
Tuesday 8.15am-2.15pm (6hrs)
Wednesday 10.15am-5pm (6.45hrs)
Thursday 9.30am-3.30pm (6hrs)
Friday 8.15am-4.15pm (8hrs)
No bank holidays.
No weekends.
Average £600-£650 per week. Average £18 per hour.
Own van is ESSENTIAL.
Own dog welcome!
You will be self employed and therefore responsible for your own tax, national insurance and personal insurances such as vehicle cover.
Ideally to start March 27th although this can be flexible.
