We are a focussed team of exceptionally talented engineers, developers and designers committed to helping Santander deliver value through use of latest technologies and ideas including blockchain, AI, Chatbots, Big Data etc. Developing our team through continued learning and challenging the ways of working to accelerate innovation trough agility, design thinking and hypothesis driven development

Managing – Risk control and ensuring security best practices are applied to all products and processes
Delivering – High quality code to our customers across our various digital platforms
Providing – Support to other engineers and the technical engineering community through engagement in talks and knowledge sharing

What you’ll bring.
Enterprise level software development experience
Experience with a frontend framework – Angular or React
Experience with backend tooling – Java or Node.js
Experience working as part of an agile tech project
It would also be nice for you to have.
Cloud exposure (AWS preference)
Experience leading a development team
Presenting experience with stakeholders
Unit testing and functional testing exposure (BDD/TDD)
What else you need to know.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis – time in the office to be agreed with your line manager (40% in the office).
