Full stack Engineer
Job Title: Full Stack Engineer
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne / Remote working
Salary: 40k – 45k
Our client is a prestigious digital organisation in Newcastle who offer and deliver complex software solutions to a shape customer experience. They are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join their Product Team to create and drive forward development on their suite of products.
If you are a skilled, passionate and motivated developer with a high understanding of developing, designing and managing, then you will love this Full Stack Engineer role.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Developing, deploying and maintaining modern cross-platform libraries and production level applications.
- Lay the groundwork for self-serve platform.
- Working on the front end and back-end architecture.
- Daily team stand ups to discuss relevant topics and problem solving.
- Independent coding.
- Regular cross-team meetings on monitoring live services .
- Weekly one to ones with your line manager.
- Refinement meetings.
- Retrospectives at the end of each cycle.
- Peer code reviews, ensuring quality across all platforms.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React & NodeJS
- Self-Starter with the ability to work independently.
- Experience working with agile software development, defining user-stories and assessing risk.
- Knowledge of using sophisticated source control and continuous integration tools and pipelines
