Full Stack Developer - React, Node.js

Fully Remote - You must live within the UK

Up to £80k

Node.js, React, TypeScript

Full Stack Developer sought for innovative company within the education tech space.

This role will see you leading the development of the ed-tech platform, leaving you with full freedom of all technical decisions. The ideal candidate will be confident working full stack, with solid experience in React, Node.js and AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining their pre-existing edtech system across the stack
• Developing new features, with the potential for the creation of new applications from scratch.
• Ensuring healthy application uptime
• Maintaining the AWS setup
• Working closely with stakeholders to ensure they are getting the most out of their products

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of Front-end JS frameworks (React preferred)
• Strong grasp of Back-end development and NodeJS
• A good understanding of TypeScript
• Working knowledge of AWS is useful
• Experience with high level technical decision making
• Ability to steer product from a technical perspective
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, MongoDB experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure technical information can be shared with the rest of the team
• You are very comfortable working independently and communicating remotely
• You take pride in your code and an interest in the projects
• You create extensible and maintainable code
