Job description
Thovex Ltd, founded in 2019, is a software company building Landstack — a Software as a service (SaaS) platform that is aiming to become the digital infrastructure which the land and development industry will use to work more efficiently and effectively. We are looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer with some industry experience to join our team of developers. Some examples of what you might be involved in:
1- Working with improving connections to our data collection system — a large project built in python running on servers hosted on AWS. This involves improving and maintaining the control system that manages the web scrapers and web crawlers we use to gather information, working with our internal APIs to ensure information is updated efficiently, working with our data team to ensure information is up to standard and building automated solutions to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the data.
2 - Improving the backend infrastructure that the main website and service runs on. This might include a transition to cloud infrastructure or horizontally scaling our servers
3 - Working with our machine learning engineers to integrate AI/ML generative language and image models into the platform.
4 - Building new features into our platform for our users to use. Ranging from speed and efficiency improvements of existing features to completely new additions to the platform. We have a lot we want to build!
