Job description

Burts Snacks are recruiting for a fryer to work at their Leicester site. Desirably the ideal candidate should have some experience in food manufacturing in a similar role, however, training will be given.

The hours for this role is a 4 on 4 off night - 18:00-06:00

Role Purpose:

• To be able to effectively manage the Factory in the absence of the Area Manager.
• To operate the fryers in accordance with stated procedures and ensure that production plans are met.
• To ensure that all aspects of the stated operations agenda are met with regard to Quality, Profit, Risk, Supply and Team development.
• Assist with defined quality control checks ensuring that all standards are maintained and the product integrity is maintained.
• Hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest levels shown on visual standards
• Liaise with the production team to ensure communication and corrective action are taken in the event of any out of specification results.
