What we’re looking for

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS would be an advantage
  • Experience within the Front Office area in a manager/Assistant manager capacity

What you’ll do

  • Process guest check-ins, assigning rooms and activating room keys
  • Lead a large day/nights team
  • Co-ordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in and report any guest concerns
  • Answer, respond to and process all guest calls, messages, questions or concerns
  • Give guests information and directions regarding property and local areas of interest
  • Process check-outs and resolving any disputed charges
  • Process payments and room charges
  • Confirm reservations and cancellations, running daily reports on the number of arrivals and departures
  • Ensure the team administer front office functions and supervising/leading staff on a daily basis
  • Support with training, coaching and developing the Front Office team in order to support associate development and engagement

With this role you will be working 40 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends on a mixture of early and late shifts.
