· To maintain the standard of hygiene, presentation, cleanliness and maintenance of the reception area and associated areas at all times
· To have an in-depth working knowledge of all front office procedures, including the computer system, switchboard, reservations and housekeeping procedures
· To communicate effectively with all departments, managers and team members with accurate information
· To be the first point of contact for all guests and deal with check in / check out procedures efficiently and pleasantly
· To process all financial transactions with precision as required
· To ensure a very high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
· To participate in all training sessions and procedures as provided by the company and management
· To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health & Safety for yourself, other employees, customers and any other persons on the premises
· To ensure customer care policies of the unit are always maintained and to anticipate the needs of the customers
· To ensure receptionist duty list is completed on all shifts
· To carry out a reception handover to team members at the end of all shifts
· To work as a supportive team member 5 days out of 7 on ad hoc rota basis
· To operate within guidelines of consumer and licensing legislation
· To ensure the security of all forms of monies on the premises including the proper and honest use of all cash/till machines, petty cash floats, currency exchange and credit card machine
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £21,000.00-£22,500.00 per year
