We are currently recruiting for a temporary Front of House/Visitor Experience and Retail Assistant for a centrally based Oxford University Department, starting asap on a part-time/ variable hours . Weekend work is mandatory.
Duties:
- Deliver a world class experience for visitors and excellent customer service by acting as the institution’s ambassador, remaining friendly, approachable and welcoming at all times. To help you achieve this, you will receive comprehensive and structured training, alongside regular reviews and one-to-one meetings with your manager.
- Keep areas clean and tidy to keep the institution looking at its best as well as to enhance H&S by preventing any slip or trip hazards. This will be a part of your working routine, and you may receive additional instructions regarding specific areas by a manager.
- Actively encourage visitor feedback using the various channels at each site ensuring that any feedback is recorded and reported to a manager, where appropriate, to ensure that our visitors feel supported and valued.
- Respond to visitors’ questions and issues in a diplomatic and informed way while ensuring that they receive an exceptional level of customer service. Where appropriate, follow the escalation process and ensure a manager is contacted for support.
