Front of House supervisor

Who are we?
Kinsbrook started as a vineyard and wine producer in the village of Thakeham, West Sussex. In November 2022, we opened the doors of Kinsbrook Farmhouse, a Sussex-barn style building that is the centre of our hospitality offering. Downstairs, we have a farm shop complete with fresh seasonal produce, baked goods, a butcher counter and an active delicatessen with a cheese counter and takeaway service. The deli also serves small plates of antipasti. Upstairs, in the eatery, we have a 7 day a week restaurant running weekly 'specials menus' spotlighting fresh, seasonal produce and meat from the in house butchery.
We currently have one main service at lunchtime. Our licensing tightly regulates our opening hours so we close at 7pm latest. However, you may be required to work later at occasional private events and evening Supper Clubs. We may look to get evening hours in the future to be able to supply a dinner service on a select few nights every week. We would also like to explore the possibility of offering brunch or breakfast options within our current licensing soon.
The restaurant has an open plan kitchen, dining area, lounge and balcony overlooking the vines. A terrace that will open in the spring for outdoor seating, diners and wine tourism.

The role and you
We are looking for candidates with some experience in hospitality with good people skills to join our front of house team. The job may require working in different parts of the front of house team: Primarily we are looking for a good manager of a small team, who can full-fill the roles of waiter/waitress, bartender/barista and carry out the relevant back of house requirements such as ordering, rota planning and cash up. Equally if you feel that you have experience from different industry's that make you a good candidate please get in touch. We have extensive in-house training. Good knowledge of wine and food are a benefit but not essential. We are looking for individuals who are team players and have nice personalites.
