Marco's New York Italian MediaCityUK is looking for new members of it's team!

Ideally the candidates would have experience in a similar role, but full training would be provided, so passion and desire to learn is a must! This role would mainly be for evening shifts.

Please note that working on match days is essential. Candidates who are not able to work when Man United are playing won't be considered for the job role.

About us:

Marco's New York Italian MediaCityUK is located within the Holiday Inn MediaCityUK. We have a la carte menu, as well as other special menus - afternoon tea, early bird etc. We often have functions in our private dining room, such as birthdays, anniversaries and afternoon teas. Our team looks after room service for the hotel, which has 218 rooms.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensuring guests are receiving quality product
• Being on time and in correct uniform for each shift
• Welcome guests and take guests to the table
• Taking orders for food and drinks
• Running food to the tables and doing checkbacks
• Processing charges and payments
• Working as a team with the rest of the departments and throughout the restaurant
• Processing bookings and sending detailed confirmations.
• Setting up the restaurant on a daily basis
• Cleaning front of house and back of house areas
• Taking orders for room service and running rooms service to the rooms
• Occasionally looking after/setting up meeting rooms

Ideal candidate

• Reliable and willing to learn - if you don't have the experience will be more than happy to give you full training
• Being able to work under pressure
• Having flexible schedule - working during the week and weekends
• Being able to work past the last tram or bus - occasionally you'll be needed to stay past 11.30pm

• Having positive attitude towards colleagues and managers

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £9.50 per hour
