Bakery Andante is an award winning artisan bakery originally based in Morningside, with a production facility in Leith and cafe in Broughton Street. Andante is a musical expression meaning ‘at a slower tempo’, which perfectly describes how we think bread should be made. Our products are made from scratch (starting from basic ingredients) on the premises. Our range includes 7 sourdough breads, a variety of flavoured and tin breads, as well as some great cakes and biscuits, all made with no additives, enhancers or improvers. And we are expanding!
We are looking for new colleagues to join our team at our Broughton Street Cafe.
Our new site is a retail artisan bakery however we also have a tables for customers to sit and enjoy our products inside serving coffee, tea, cakes and brunches. As well as selling our award winning artisan breads you will also provide excellent table service for those sitting in, and keep our site clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
We need a variety of staff, with full-time and part-time positions available.
While you will be mainly based at our new location you may also be asked to cover our markets too (from Leith). We need both week day and weekend cover.
