Trinity College is the largest of the Colleges of Cambridge University, with some 700 undergraduates, 350 post-graduates and 190 Fellows (the senior members of the College) who are supported by over 340 staff. The College is now seeking applications for the position of Front of House Services Manager.
The post holder will demonstrate a genuine passion and desire to exceed expectation, delivering exceptional front-of-house services. You will take full control and ownership of the smooth running of all front-of-house activities, working closely with the rest of the senior management team in the Catering Department and all front of house staff.
This demanding site offers a wide range of services, from intimate fine dining to canapé receptions, plated fine dining up to 400 covers, buffets and a student cafeteria.
You will be responsible for the management of the front of house and for the training and development of its staff. You must be forward thinking, highly organised and able to deliver last-minute catering requests and changes.
The ideal Front of House Services Manager must have a proven background and, experience in fine-dining and corporate catering, have excellent people management skills and a friendly, polite and approachable disposition and able to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
This is a permanent full-time role (typically 37.5 hours per week which will include some evenings and weekends) with a salary of £54,952 per annum plus a generous benefits package which includes:
