Shifts & Hours: 12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 07:00 - 19:00
Hourly Rate: £14.14 (paid breaks)

Main Duties
IT competence (Excel, MS Word, Google sheets) is essential as the security officer will manage numerous systems and produce various reports and documents.
- Provide an impeccable first impression to all visitos, occupiers
- Deliver a seamless 5 star meet and great service to visitors and clients
- Provide the highest levels of customer service
- Visitor & Occupier assistance
- Liaison with occupiers, clients and service providers
- Access control and queue management
- Manage visitor bookings and events
- Responsible for client and company databases, reports and documentation
- Conduct X-Ray screening and searches
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping
- Incident and emergency response
- Compliance to ensure the security and safety of the Shard, building assets, visitors, staff and occupiers.
- To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner, complying with all client and company policies and procedures.
- To undertake additional duties in line with management requests as required.
- Effectively communication with occupiers and guests in a professional, courteous & friendly manner
- Effectively manage and operate all site systems and equipment – reporting and resolving any faults and issues

- Liaise and work effectively with the office reception team
- Identify, manage and report and Health and safety incidents and issues
- Compliance – have a full understand of all site procedures and policies including but limited to: A.I's, risk assessment and SOP's
- Fully proficient in the evacuation and emergency procedures
- Maintain a flexible and professional approach in dealing with all enquiries
- Act as a brand ambassador of Shard Quarter at all times
- Observe the dress code at all times
- Completed all client and company reports and documentation
- Have knowledge of the departments and companies operating within the building including their structure and function in order to gain an understanding of the business as a whole
- Work as part of a close team, communicating effectively with others.
What we are looking for
- Ability to problem solve under pressure and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- SIA DS Licence
- First Aid & X-Ray Trained
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and develop and show high level of commitment and professionalism.
