Located in the heart of the commercial district on Old Hall Street, Innside by Melia Liverpool is a new 4* lifestyle hotel with 207 bedrooms, 7 conference suites as well as views over Liverpool and the River Mersey at Gino’s 360-degree Sky Bar on the 18th floor. Immersed in art, music, and culture, Liverpool’s newest and most anticipated lifestyle hotel is within walking distance of major corporate offices and local attractions.

Job Summary: Innside by Melia Liverpool are looking for a strong Front of House manager who is passionate about delivering excellent standards with strong experience in the hospitality industry to lead the team to excellence in this 207 bedroom 4* Lifestyle hotel. The Front of House Manager is responsible for leading and delivering a smooth and efficient Front of House operation by direct line management of the front office and reservations divisions, as well as relationship management with outsourced F&B teams, housekeeping teams and other relevant stakeholders.


The successful candidate will be an experienced Front of House Manager or an ambitious Assistant FOM with a proven track record of delivering results and driving success in Front of House positions. You will be a great leader with excellent attention to detail and dedication to delivering experiences, ideally in a branded hotels background with excellent knowledge of Opera PMS.


Duties Include:

  • Lead and oversee a team whilst working closely with Restaurant GM, Head Chef, and Executive Housekeeper to deliver Innside by Melia standards and drive continuous improvements.
  • Provide excellent line management to motivate and inspire your team.
  • Effectively implement Melia Hotels International procedures, promoting understanding and compliance within the department.
  • Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House teams.
  • Maintain focus on meeting or exceeding departmental and hotel goals whilst ensuring compliance with consistently high standards.
  • Ensure services provided by the Front Office staff meet or exceed guest expectations and builds client loyalty through consistent excellence in standards.
  • Recruit, develop and retain a diverse workforce to deliver exceptional experiences. Create and sustain a positive work environment that focuses on employee development
  • Assist with the selling strategy to maximise revenue and support the efforts of the Sales team to achieve hotel revenue.
  • Manage the daily operation of the Front Office to achieve or exceed budget expectations. Monitor wages and expenses and makes ongoing adjustments as needed to achieve goals.
