Job description
We are a growing firm, currently with 33 Partners, specialising in the areas of private client, commercial property, renewable energy, farming and agricultural, telecoms and licensing, corporate, commercial dispute resolution, employment and family business. We have offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, Dunblane and Dunfermline.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Front of House Assistant to join our Support Services Department in Glasgow. The role will be diverse but will include:
- General Switchboard and Reception Duties
- General Archivist Duties (Files, Wills, POA & Titles, liaising with Iron Mountain)
- General meeting room duties
- Copying and scanning of documents
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by manager
Booking and coordination of meeting rooms
Other Duties:
- General Despatch Duties (Holiday & Sickness Cover)
o Collection of post at set times during the course of the day
o Making deliveries/collections
o Messenger duties
Any other WJM project duties which may from time to time be reasonably requested by manager
Experience:
The successful candidate will have experience of working in an office environment, preferably a law firm, as part of a service team. They will be detailed and precise in their approach to completing tasks and must be able to prioritise and juggle a number of tasks at a time. PC skills, ability to access PC based information, intranet, internet and external contractor’s database also required.
