We are looking for engaging candidates to join our Front of House teams on a ‘fixed term’ basis (August 2023 – February 2024), working within our galleries and at till points across the Museum. Whilst directing visitors to the nearest facilities or helping to find the perfect memento in our gift shop - you will be responsible for making visitors feel part of the V&A family. The ideal candidate would be able to adapt their communication style to suit diverse audiences with the confidence to tailor bespoke experiences each day. Being commercially minded is key when promoting donations, gift aid or Membership - supporting the Museum's income streams. Working as part of a large team, you will also collaborate with security and housekeeping teams – ensuring that our visitors and collections are kept safe across the V&A’s 12-acre site.

Full Time - 36-37.5 hours averaging 5 days per week across a 6-week pattern. Full availability required Monday – Sunday (includes three weekends off and two late shifts).

Part Time - 24 hours averaging 5 days per week across a 6-week pattern. Full availability required Monday – Sunday (includes three weekends off).

15-20.05 hours averaging 3 days per week. Full availability required across Friday – Sunday.

Successful applicants can expect to be invited to attend a group assessment day on the week commencing 17 July 2023.

The start date for the available positions will be late August 2023. As it stands the Fixed Term contracts will be set to expire February 2024.
