FOH Assistant, Spinningfields, Bakery/Cafe

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistant to join the team in our busy cafe in the heart of Spinningfields, Manchester.

Our competitive rate of pay ranges from £7.49 to £10.42 per hour dependant on age.

The hours for this role is 8 hours only on a Saturday. 08:30 - 16:30

You may be require to do some local walking deliveries when our regular driver is on holiday or a day off.

The Role

As a Front of House Assistant, you will have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, take orders and serve out our fantastic afternoon teas. You will need to have knowledge of our drinks and food offerings and it would be a bonus if you has barista experience however, full training is given.

You will be working closely with our kitchen team to ensure all orders and afternoon teas run smoothly.

What will you be doing as a Front of House Assistant?

You will be answering the phone to customers placing cake orders. Setting up tables and counters ready for the days trade. You will be serving customers that walk in who want a simple cake and a cup of tea/coffee. You will be taking payment using contactless and recording the sales through our digital till system. You will also be performing basic cleaning tasks throughout the day and at the end of the day to ensure they are kept at our company standards.

You will be super friendly and have a genuine love for customer service.

Barista experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
