Team Profile
We are seeking a Web Developer to join the Morgan Stanley Quantitative Analytics squad in delivering best in class solutions for the Equities business.
The squad will ensure Morgan Stanley's place as leaders in providing our external clients with cutting edge tools, data and knowledge that allow them to make the most informed decisions possible throughout the trading lifecycle.
The role involves all aspects of software development.
We need a flexible and practical technologist who demonstrates excellent problem solving skills, enjoys all aspects of software development and will contribute to the success of the team.

- You will be responsible for connecting our clients to Morgan Stanley's quantitative analytics to enable and enhance our client's trading strategies
- You will present and distribute this data in innovative and meaningful ways
- You will be expected to promote best practices in terms of testing and development
- You will be an active contributor to architectural design decisions and reviews
- You will support and lead different phases of the product lifecycle
- You will be a technically proficient and enthusiastic developer, with a desire to understand our business and technologies in order to help engineer new and existing solutions #LI-MS2
QUALIFICATIONS

Skills desired
- Strong JavaScript/Typescript skills
- Experience employing HTML, CSS and related web technologies
- Experience with Angular or comparable framework
- Experience of the agile methodology, TDD and associated tooling
- Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and deliver results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. You need to be comfortable working with the both Business and Technology colleagues
